The Klagenfurt City Transport Museum takes visitors on an exciting journey through the history of public transport in Klagenfurt.
In seven exhibition rooms, the development of shipping, trams, and bus transportation since 1853 is vividly presented. Located in a former ORF broadcasting building in the natural area of Lendspitz, the museum combines historical exhibits with regional transport history.

A special experience is offered by Lendcanaltramway, where lovingly restored historical trams depart on demand every full and half hour in nice weather and can be experienced in action.

The museum is open every Saturday and Sunday during the season and is suitable for families, technology enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to discover Klagenfurt's past in a special way.

The attached cinema museum shows, among other things, the history of film since 1896 – the first traveling cinemas, the oldest film ever shot in Carinthia, the history of the numerous Klagenfurt cinemas of its time, the history of early school cinema, and more than 50 Carinthian rural cinemas.
