The Wörthersee Ultra Trail is one of the most beautiful trails in Europe! On the one hand breathtaking viewpoints on Austria's most popular bathing lake. On the other hand, a wide variety of terrains and demanding passages - there is something for everyone.

The Wörthersee Ultra Trail is a mountain running event where, depending on the format, runners are required to cover a distance of 21 to 72 kilometres and up to 2600 metres in altitude. But if the running is too hectic for you, you also have the possibility to walk the distance during the 21km trail walk!

After 9 years of "Trailmaniak" with organizer Mario Schönherr, the Ultra Trail Trail Running Event is opening a new chapter since 2018. First of all, the team "Mach 3" will be the new organizer. Secondly, there are six different competitions in which you can participate. And thirdly, with the Trail Running City in Pörtschach there will be a really cool location as a worthy centre of the event.

The Wörthersee Ultra Trail is one of many events at Lake Wörthersee which clearly underlines the position as the No. 1 lifestyle holiday destination in Austria.
